Angie Moore I am a 40+ full-time professional working mother of a teenage daughter. In any spare time I have in my schedule, I also work as a Personal Trainer and Stage Presentation Coach at my partner’s studio (Dave’s Ghetto Gym) on the Gold Coast in Australia.
I started training seriously in 2009 at age 38 when I went through some huge life changes and found I needed a new focus and to try and find some much needed confidence. I am now an IFBB Bikini Masters Champion and have competed at both Australian and International World level as well as being a published fitness model, with features in Oxygen and Ironman magazines.
I first attended Phat Camp back in 2012. I had been following Jen Hendershott since I started; she was one of the women I was very much inspired by, as she is a similar age to me. Financially I wasn't in a position to attend Phat Camp at the time, which I was devastated about. I could not believe it when she walked into my workplace completely by chance! We started talking (I was actually gushing haha) and hit it off straight away. She quickly invited me to attend camp as her guest, and the rest is history. I had the most amazing, life changing experience that weekend. The women I met, laughed with, cried with, trained with, and bonded with, became life long friends. This experience inspired and motivated me to move forward with my goals and start smashing them! Six months later I realised one of my long term dreams when I finally stood on the world stage and represented Australia in the USA.
I am very thankful for the opportunities that have presented themselves since that first meeting with Jen. Being asked to be the Australian host in 2014 for the new Phat Camp with Nicole Wilkins and Jen was just one of those amazing opportunities. I feel very privileged to be working with such an amazing group of women….Phat Camp is just getting bigger and better every year, and I am so excited to be a part of that.
I look forward to meeting you all and being a part of your life changing experience when you attend Phat Camp 2016 in Australia!
